Max Patch Retreat is a 4-bedroom, 2-bath vacation home atop Rich Mountain on the Tennessee-North Carolina state line, near Max Patch Mountain in Pisgah National Forest. Situated at an elevation of 4,100 ft and just northeast of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, guests at the retreat enjoy cool summers, snowy winters, and clear, star-filled nights away from the city lights. Remote but comfortable, this cedar-sided cottage features an 800 square-foot deck, 5-seat hot tub, and all the amenities, including a 25-inch color TV with satellite dish, VCR, DVD, dishwasher, washer and dryer, and linens. With convenient access to the Appalachian Trail and close to Max Patch Mountain, an endless variety of Smoky Mountain vistas and all manner of outdoor activities await you.
